2025 Year in Review: Building the Future of Food, Together

In 2025, Branchfood marked ten years of serving as a trusted convener and catalyst across the food industry, bringing together founders, investors, corporations, and institutions to tackle the most pressing challenges shaping our food system.

Over the last decade, we have:

  • Built a community of 19K+ innovators, industry experts, corporate leaders, and investors;

  • Supported 950+ founders of CPG and agri-foodtech businesses nationwide;

  • Hosted 275+ educational and networking events in partnership with expert organizations;

  • Onboarded 44 mentors with expertise in food, agriculture, tech, and business;

  • Developed a digital audience of 20K+ across newsletters, social media, and Meetup; and

  • Invested multi-millions in 28 early-stage startups through sister company, Branch Venture Group.

As we look ahead, we’re building on that momentum. In the year to come, we’re deepening partnerships with the Cambridge Innovation Center, Babson College, Wolf Greenfield, and many others, engaging with the global innovation community at Future Food-Tech San Francisco and the UMass Food Science Conference, and continuing to invest in early-stage companies across food as medicine, advanced packaging materials, novel ingredients and biomanufacturing, food access and security, climate-smart agriculture, and food waste and upcycling.

We’re also expanding our high-impact networking events to help founders connect, learn, and scale.
