Fundraising for Early Stage Food Entrepreneurs will provide a thorough, in-depth understanding of fundraising for a food business and what it takes to raise capital from individuals and groups who seek to invest in promising food startups.
This half-day workshop will bring together leading food investors, entrepreneurs, industry experts, and knowledgeable service providers to take you through the building blocks of creating multi-year financial projections and all legal considerations from forming an entity, to equity sharing, creating term sheets for investors, and more. We'll hear from successful founders who raised multi-millions for their early-stage ventures and you'll have a chance to network at our expert round tables on topics including lean marketing and branding, e-commerce, co-packing, product development, forming an advisory board, pricing strategy, equity plans, and fundraising.
You will leave the event with a clear understanding of fundraising fundamentals including building a financial model, all legal considerations, and what investors look for when evaluating a food startup opportunity.
